Hi there, I’m Andre and I make images. It’s that simple.

Well, not just images, I make images that make people stop, stare and want more.

I am a commercial photographer working with restaurants and brands in the food, beverage, product sectors, in Hamilton, Toronto, GTA and beyond.

My focus is on making the most fun, striking and high-quality work I possibly can.

I started my career working as a graphic designer in advertising agencies in Brazil. One of these agencies had a few restaurant clients (I've always loved cooking, so it was pretty cool). And what do you know! Those restaurants needed photos of their dishes and, what do you know again! My dad surprised me with a camera as a gift, and shortly after, Lil ol' Andre started taking food photos for the ad agency I worked at.

As time passed, I continued to improve my photography skills (I even went to school for it a looong time ago). Life happened, and after a few years, my lovely wife and I moved to Canada, landing on the Six in 2015, where I had the privilege to take the Culinary Arts program at George Brown College, having an internship in food styling at the end of the course. I started working as a photographer at a food photography studio in the city, and after a few years of assisting, I decided to go freelance.

Now, here we are! I continue to create delicious visuals for clients, from restaurants to agencies, producers, and studios, brands large or small. More often than not, I'm working with amazing food and prop stylists from around the GTA.

Making food images is my passion, it's what started it all, but I also shoot kick ass images of beverages, products, people, packaging and whatever crazy idea you can imagine.
